World Quantum Day, 2024" at University of Malakand

The Center for Computational Materials Sciences, University of Malakand & Department of Physics, Department of Chemistry, UoM in collaboration with University of Swat organized an Awareness Session to commemorate "World Quantum Day, 2024" at University of Malakand.
The VC UoM Prof Dr Rashid Ahmad, Prof Dr Atta ur Rehman, Pro-VC Prof Dr Iftikhar Ahmad, Chairman, Department of Physics, Prof Dr Jamil Ahmad, Dean Faculty of IT, Prof Dr Sultan Alam Kakakhel, Chairman, Department of Chemistry, Prof Dr Najeeb ur Rehman, Dean of Sciences, University of Swat, Dr Rashid Ahmad, Chief Organizer, Department of Physics, faculty members & students of various teaching departments and colleges of Malakand Division graced the event.
The VC UoM Prof Dr Rashid Ahmad, Prof Dr Iftikhar Ahmad, Prof Dr Jamil Ahmad & Prof Dr Sultan Alam Kakakhel highlighted the significance of World Quantum Day, 2024 & pledged that by using quantum physics & quantum computing the scientists have created revolutionary technologies that impact our daily lives.
Besides, three resolutions were also passed in the event including; study of Mathematics should be made compulsory in FSc, promoting STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) education in the country & commemoration of Quantum Day at regional, provincial & national levels.
